"The X-1 gave me the confidence that I had the pick under control and has increased my right hand accuracy"
— Roger McGuinn
Mel Bay Writer and Head of the Jazz Guitar Program at the University of Colorado, Professor Paul Musso comments on the F-1:
"The F-1 pick has increased my jazz right hand technique and ACCURACY as well as my overall tone.
It should be a required tool for all beginning guitarists, it takes the guess work and mystery out of achieving proper right hand picking technique.
The F-1 is excellent for guitarists of all levels: the novice, amateur, college players and professionals."
Here's what Billboard Top Rated Guitar instructor Scott Morris had to say about the FX-3:
"After 33 years of playing, I have tested every pick on the market.
I was most impressed with the ability of TOTAL CONTROL and the COMFORTABLE feel of the FX-3 pick that you offer
Without question, the absolute best pick I have ever used for strumming chords. I highly recommend this pick to all guitarists."
Gavin Ehringer on the SX-1:
"The coolest thing was the ACCURACY As a relative beginner who still
misses the occasional note, I suddenly began nailing all the songs
I've learned. I was so stoked, I dropped work and PLAYED ALL DAY. If you're like me, I think you'll find it's the best few bucks you've ever spent."
Jim Kuhn on the F-1:
"Until the F-1 came along I have refused to even consider using a pick in lieu of my masterful digits.
I can't put it down! The F-1 is so COMFORTABLE it's like an extension of my fingers. It NEVER SHIFTS on me OR FALLS OUT OF MY GRIP

The F-1 guitar pick is designed to prevent the pick from slipping while in the midst of strumming. It's design allows there to be LESS TENSION in the hands while playing, and is already said by some doctors to PREVENT FATIGUE and REPETETIVE STRESS
Tyler Roberts on the F-1:
"I was first introduced to F-1 picks by my guitarist when recording my album.
Ever since I have not looked back. It is the first time a pick has been a crucial part of my kit and has improved my sound and playing.
With the rapid evolution of musical equipment, picks have been left behind.
However, finally a pick has evolved, too. So much more, in fact, that it makes you play better..."

Comments: I absolutly love these picks. Since I discovered them, (six or seven years ago) I've used nothing else. I would get hand cramps all the time with regular picks. Since I started using these, I no longer get cramps in my hands. I also find that my picking has improved since I started using these picks. I am much more accurate and find that I can pick with a precision that would have amazed me just a few years ago. These picks also seem to last forever. I don't mind paying a little more for these picks because they are worth every penny. I mean, think about it, a PRS cost more the a Squire, but there is a reason for that. An F-1 cost a bit more then a Fender pick, but it is such a superior pick that it is worth it.Thursday 04/03/2003 3:54:56pm

Comments: it's odd to think that so many things about the guitar are so needlessly klutzy. after hundreds of years and countless players, one would think that the instrument would by now have evolved into a slinky and easy to use instrument. weirdly enough, the opposite seems to be the case. a perfect example of this is the guitar pick. this is a device so common that it's design is taken for granted, either because it's deemed to be perfect or, more likely, because it's good enough to get the job done. for this reason the f-1 is a real revalation; it takes a simple problem encountered by guitar players everywhere and solves it elegantly. no more flying picks and sore fingers. the shape of the pick makes it easy to hold allowing for excellent comfort, control, and aim. for a beginning guitarist there is no better investment as it eliminates the frustrations engendered by other more squirrely designs. the surf pick is even better, making tremolo style picking a thrill and not a drill. a real problem with this style of picking is that the short sharp strokes needed for it are not easy to produce with most picks. if the pick is too light, it will be easy to get the required pick velocity but the pick will be noisy and the tone thin and light. if the pick is too heavy, it becomes harder to pick quickly and the tone becomes dark and muddy. the surf pick solves this by being light enough for speed and strong enough for power. and, of course, the shape makes it easy to hold, eliminating much of the pain and fatigue associated with extended jams. all in all, i find that these picks are worth the price and i highly recommend them. now if i just find them in retail stores...
